Wife carrying competition
As team sports go, Finland’s wife carrying competition is in a class by itself. Couples must maneuver through an obstacle course with the male carrying a female in whichever way they prefer, with the Estonian-style (the wife holds her husband around the waist and tightens her legs around his neck) being the favored style. The winning couple gets the wife’s weight in beer.
