For amateurs of Japanese cartoons such as “Gundam” or “Neon Genesis Evangelion”, piloting a mobile robot suit is a life-long dream. This video from Japan’s Suidobashi Heavy Industries makes it seem like an attainable goal. The art project seems quite realistic, even though the mecha only shoots harmless water-powered projectiles using the pilot’s smile as cue. The cute female pilot does help to sell the project.
