British fashion designer Manuel Torres has created cotton-based spray on clothing. Similar in principle to liquid latex clothing, loose cotton fibers are added to a fast evaporating solvent which is then sprayed. The result is skin-tight cotton based clothing.
According to Torres the resulting garment can be washed like any other piece of clothing, or it can be dissolved to be reused at a later date. Other applications Torres sees for his invention are medical (bandages, medicine delivery system).
